I'm thrilled to hear someone say they don't like grey and want something warm! ❤❤❤. Living in the US, its seems everything is grey. I think one of the reasons I fell in love with British interior design years ago was that was it is mostly warm colors. Your dresser is gorgeous. I've had that style pulls and knobs on my cabinets for years. We have great taste!! 😘
@davidthescottishvegan3 жыл бұрын
I don't like Grey because it's a depressing colour but warm colours brighten up the home and help cheer you up especially on days when the weather is rainy & cloudy and there's no sun.
@CindyCB783 жыл бұрын
So nice and refreshing to see something changed from washed out grey into a lovely warm colour for once!
@MadeleineOlivia3 жыл бұрын
I’m not a fan of grey at all! Greens, blues, terracotta, browns and yellows for me please!
@CindyCB783 жыл бұрын
@@MadeleineOlivia Same! I don’t really follow trends anyway and pick what I like but I will be glad to see the back of the grey obsession for sure.
@Motherhubbard1703 жыл бұрын
@@CindyCB78 the worst possible colour for a miserable year of masks etc is grey, we're already miserable enough, and colour and beauty definitely lift the spirit,
@davidthescottishvegan3 жыл бұрын
@@Motherhubbard170 100% agree that is why I like red, orange, yellow, green, brown. The colours I don't like are black and white and since grey is a combination of that it's on the list of the colours I hate.

The other trick to get paint off hinges is put them in boiling water. Once the metal gets hot the paint will start to peel and you can get it off with a scraper or similar

Hi Madeleine, I think the colour is just beautiful!! So glad you're seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. When I lived in London (I'm in the borders of Scotland now) my kitchen took over 3 months. I had my freezer in the sitting room and cooked on a camping stove and microwave. I was so glad to get my kitchen back.....then I had to move lol.

How beautiful! I haven't been on KZbin much these past couple of months, so seeing all the progress has been a real treat! I absolutely LOVE the way the cabinet turned out! If I may make a suggestion (and please, feel free to ignore it if it's not something you would even think about! I know my eyes can be fussy!) The knobs on the lower cabinet area of your hutch, there is one that is one the left side of the cabinet, and there are two that are on the right that are side by side. I noticed the knob on the right is darker than the other two. If you switch the far left knob with the far right knob, then it wont be as noticeable a difference, since they wont be side by side. Just an idea, and again, feel free to ignore it! Anyway, I'm really looking forward to playing catch up on all your amazing progress, and seeing some new recipe videos in the future! Sending lots of love!

Could immediately see how much brighter it was in there right from the first shot. I love a bright kitchen. I did some reno work for my mother recently, but we picked out a colour that we didn’t love one the wall. I ended up mixing my own by adding some white paint. Thankfully it worked out, and she loves the new hue. If only my other projects would turn out that way!

Another hack for getting paint off hinges and such is to just boil them in some hot water for a little bit and the paint should peel right off when the metal gets hot. Obviously use caution when dealing with hot metal.

I love grey if there’s different textures and other warm colours with it. But I’m sick of the sterile grey and white decor. Lots of my house is grey, but we’ll probably only live here another few years so I want to keep it fairly neutral. I’m going to paint my kitchen like a sage green though ❤️

how satisfying to see this dresser in green instead of grey. I do however agree it might be a great idea moving it to the other side of the wall....maybe switching it with the piano ;-) this way it's not a room full of cupboards
