Thank you. It is very inspiring to see the process The way your brush follows your soul and paint the spirit of the object Your instinct for colors is impressive I would like to be one of your students

Thank you very much for taking the time to elaborate on your technique! It explained a lot about how you look at a scene. Your process was good to watch. I am compelled to try and finish my paintings in 1 sitting. It's really hard to get up and walk away.

Yong, what a pleasure to follow your process and reasoning while deciding which colour and brush stroke you should use! And how interesting it is to understand your decisions! I have been following you for a while and I've learnt a lot, even though I am very keen on painting as well. Thank you!

Thank you so much for posting more about your process! I loved the part at the end where you were showing us the polishing -- I can make the big shapes happen but I always struggle at the end. I mostly paint deserts and all of the big shapes even have little details haha! But like you said, people will know it's a cactus even without every needle painted! :)

Hi Lisa, Thank you for your thoughtful message! What you choose to leave out is just as important as what you put in. The goal is the find good balance. See you in the next video.

I saw your work a few minutes ago on the Portland Art Museum website, went through your insta, and I’m already a fan. I’ve lived in WA all my life and your landscapes are so nostalgic for me ❤ Beautiful work!
