I'll give you the short version. There was a tombstone here when we moved in. Top broken off. Written on it was Daughter of Ida and Richard Tabberer died 1879 she was 4 months old. So the name was where it was broken. I had an elliptical upstairs I used in the wee hours of morning. There was a window in front of it so when it is dark it reflects like a mirror. I was exercising and saw someone walk behind me in reflection of window in the room behind me. Assuming it was my husband I went downstairs to make him coffee, our bedroom is 2 flights down. When I hit the bottom of the first flight I heard him snoring, we were the only ones in the house. I moved the elliptical later that day. Anyway that made me curious so I looked up her parents. They never had any other children and they are buried about 10 miles away. Turns out the part of the house I saw her in was lost likely the babies room. I hear her singing lullabies sometimes, see her walking and hear her coughing. I have had friends that have had experiences and are now frightened to spend the night at our home. I researched and found out the name of the baby and it confirmed what a medium that I had visit said it was. Doesn't really scare me, just makes me sad. We had a dinner party a couple of years ago and one of the guests who knew nothing about the story drank too much and kept insisting that the door to the room be kept open because a woman in the bathroom told her the baby was sick and needed to be checked on. This is where the tradition of keeping 'The Box' came from. As you said, 'If you were lucky enough to be given a piece of jewelry, it would come in a box like this...', so you obviously 'Keep The Box'. Now days you can sometimes find newly manufactured 'caskets' but now days they are called a 'Trinket Box'. I LOVE THEM!!!💜

Either way, it is sad. Your spirit is lucky that you are such good, compassionate company. You aren’t afraid or unwelcoming. In fact, You’re so empathetic. If I were on the other side, I think I would be grateful that you moved in. Now that makes 2 books you might want to think about writing - 1 about your incredible jewelry caskets and another about your experience with the Tabberer family. Your writing really drew me in. It is a natural for jewelry collectors to also collect a variety of jewelry boxes. When you buy a new piece of jewelry you should keep it in the original box to preserve the full value. Thus, my jewelry is frequently in boxes and in the array of jewelry boxes I also collect. I don't keep my jewelry in those trays you have shown in your videos. Your friend Maria would probably get a kick from seeing one of my metal caskets which was a prop from the movie Bram Stoker's Dracula. I have a wooden casket prop from the same movie and another wooden casket prop from the TV show Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Of course I have prop jewelry from the same movie and TV show also. I really enjoyed the video.
