I knew you are my beloved Holy Ghost filled Sister!!! So nice to see your joy in the Lord. I was making quilt tops this winter and I have assembled one so far. I plan to tie that one and machine quilt the second one on my little machine next week. And I pray all the time and thank Jesus for his goodness.

Beautiful work! Hand binding is the nicest way to finish out a quilt. For always trying to catch up ... there are things you can do to set aside time to do your ‘chores’ etc. Schedule time for your business of quilting. Schedule time for your embroidery business.. Give yourself some flexibility but always give yourself periodic breaks for you and quiet time but also throw in that quick chore. Do not take extra trips up, down, into workroom and into the house. Example: You have items that need to go downstairs and some things that need to go into house. Do these in a order of natural flow. When going downstairs take items with you that need to go downstairs. And things that also need to go further into the house. ... Clean at the point of use: use it, clean it and put it away. Do not “do it later’ or “when I get a chance”. You’ll be playing catch-up and become overwhelmed. You will have to remember to consciously do this type of flow but I’ll bet after a week or two you will be surprised at all you have gotten done. And, it is always OK to say no or ask for help at home. Ask yourself “If I do not get this done this week what issue will it cause? Love your channel and I always learn something Even about myself such as a skill I had no idea I could do. You inspire so many of us. Thank you.

How exciting! I have one antique quilt that I “won” during a silent auction at a resale shop. I plan to complete it, quilt it, and donate it back to the resale shop - all profits go towards scholarships! And then there are all the vintage blocks I’ve collected along the way...... there’s still hope! Thanks!

Hi Lorena the yellow one looks like it has a vintage cheddar fabric in it, also the pink looks like a version of the Dahlia, this is what the outer rings make up, great finds on all of them...my favorite is the gingham with what looks like houses, haven't seen that pattern before. Thanks so much for sharing.

I think that the hand pieced farmhouse quilt top is 100% a treasure. If was me...... I would definitely undo that upside down strip. It we’d be sooooo worth it. Those quilt tops are fantastic. Good luck with everything you do...... be careful with everything you set out to do..... you are only ONE PERSON. I speak from experience as I had a stroke 2 years ago and it has changed my life. Don’t get me wrong..... I count my blessings EVERY DAY but please don’t overstretch yourself.

Love your Holy Spirit kisses!! Never heard that before and it's beautiful. You are NOT annoying!! I look forward to your videos. You are a hoot and always lighten and brighten my day!! I just wish your videos were longer, but I understand you have to get to work. Rounded edges? Do you mean scalloped edges. You'd have to use a binding that's on the bias to go around the curves and valleys. A little more work than the standard binding but well worth it. Good practice for your hand binding (as I prepare to machine stitch a binding!). HMMMMMMM Can I be a random stranger for the "Farmhouse Quilt"? LOLOL It sure is beautiful!! I'm not normally a fan of pastels but that one is gorgeous! Thank you so much for sharing, Lorena. Luv ya! Please take care and hugs from Canada!! (Oh, belated happy birthday. Hope it was everything you wished for.)

What beautiful finds! I so look forward to my morning coffee with Lorena. Did you buy or make the frame where you showed us the pink and yellow quilts hanging? I am looking for a design wall that I can tear apart since I do not have any walls available. There is a company that makes them from PVC but some reviews say they aren’t very stable. Thank you so much for the time you are putting into these videos. I have learned so much from you about quilting on the frame. I am moving my machine from the table to the frame, which is getting put together this weekend.

The one you have on your quilting machine has several names also it’s called improved nine patch, Bailey nine patch, circle upon circle, dinner plate, four leaf clover, nine patch variation, bridge quilt (this one would have card suits appliquéd)

Curious if the rope lights on your frame are for function or aesthetics? Or both? I like it, I might borrow that idea!
