Clever zig-zag - I can see the hand of plenty of experience and practice there, especially for the zig-zag. It's not something you see in any of the user manuals, that's for sure. 🙂

Hi Megan, haha, I think I need to practice more as I haven't actually used those techniques in 45 years, since having modern machines. I tried to demonstrate it for those who solely use these beautiful old machines :)

@@sewwithmrsg And it works. Even for those of us who don't sew solely on the old machines sometimes we want or need to sew off grid so any and all tips to make that better and easier are like little nuggets of gold. Thank you!

@@meganmills6545 thank you Megan! As always you make me happy with your lovely comments ☺️ New video coming up next about how we can use modern feet with our vintage and antique sewing machines. Would be useful information, I think, when our old machines didn’t come with their feet, no pun intended ☺️

This model is more expensive as it’s an antique and quite rare nowadays. I find these machines to be cheaper at Facebook Marketplace, but you have to check often. And be prepared to get your hands dirty as the cheaper ones are not in good condition. The ones that have been cleaned up and restored sell from almost $2000 and more.
