I live east of Springfield Missouri! I was so excited to hear you mention where you were shopping. It makes it seem like we are neighbors or something! Lol I think those Mount Vernon prints were of George Washington's home. Late 1700's. The time was right. Get well soon everyone!

Love the cheese grater because it reminds me of my grandfather. My grandparents and actually my parents were born in Italy. Every Sunday when I was young we of course had a Sunday meal together. My Grandfather always grated the Parmesan cheese on a similar grater. Quite a while ago but a wonderful memory. I am lazy though and “grate” mine in a food processor.

As a lifelong collector of blue and white dishes, platters , teapots , cachepots ... I loved all your blue and white plates. I actually found the square castle one in red with a matching bowl in a thrift store. I use it at Christmas with greenery and tangerines on my kitchen counter.

Loved the Mount Vernon print! That house is actually George Washington's house off the Potomac River in Virginia, Easy to spot for my fellow Virginians :) It looks like a Currier and Ives print!

The brass “magic lamps” are Turkish pouring vessels usually used for tea or coffee. They’re sort of small versions so I could see how that might seem confusing. Feel better soon everyone ❤️

The Mount Vernon print you have is lovely. Mount Vernon is located in Virginia on the Potomac River. The first one you showed is the front/East facing side, and the second print shows the other/West facing side. In that print, the Potomac river would be straight out from the house. It is gorgeous there. If you ever get a chance to visit Mount Vernon, you should go. It is a very special place.

Prayers for ALL to feel better ! Our youngest daughter’s family ( her 4 and 5 year old ) have been sick to ! Stomach, rash, ear, etc! All is back now that COVID isn’t so in our face. I love brass items, those oil lamps are from India. I have one and the back part wasn't attached to the base when I purchased it but it's for show piece on the upper kitchen cabinet, you are lucky to had found 2 in perfect conditions. My citus squeezer is glass just like my grandma used.

Your prints are of George Washington's Home "Mt. Vernon" in Alexandria Virginia. It sits along the Potomac River, south of Washington D.C. and is a tourist attraction. The prints were a great find.

I have that brass pot and it still has the original sticker on mine from Target I believe from the 80’s. And I also am replacing things I have with cooler vintage finds all the time! They make me happy lol. I actually just also bought a vintage cheese grater just last week at a antique store. But hehe I am able now to say Worcestershire because we use it a lot when we grill. Haha Glad you mustered up enough energy for a video! 😊

The items that you found beat out what hobby lobby and target offer. Not that their decor isn't lovely but your decor items are original, beautiful and timeless. You buy according to your style and not the style of everyone else. The painted art work was stunning and I loved the brass bowl and the oil canisters.
