Those mittens are sooooo warm. Pull them down and use them if it gets cold where you live. I also had a brass log holder that I rolled extra blankets up and styled on it. So cute.

While I am blessed to have THREE (regular) goodwills in three direct directions of me, I have an AMAZING “SAVERS” half a mile away from my subdivision… a constant lol beacon on my regular beaten path. I have always prayed before thrifting/shopping and taught young moms this. God cares about our small needs, too!! You will be able to resell that hook rack, probably for more than 15$. I loved it!! Great picnic basket find!! I like to stack them and can use for storage as well! Keep thrifting!

I found you via HIllary's channel too. You have great tenacity to dig through the bins like that and you found some great items. The green and white handcrafted doily is actually crocheted (not knitted .... you said you appreciate help with terminology :-) ). Maybe you could raise a small tree on a wooden crate and use the croceted cloth as the skirt as you mentioned. The crate would keep the skirt off the floor so that the vacuum robot wouldn't be hindered. Just an idea.

I have always love to thrift,when my grandson was small I would thrift and they wore all brand name shoes,shirts and pants. I loved it. I never go to the department stores to buy for me, I thrift and it is such a reward. I have a brass log holder but no working fireplace, I keep it by the fireplace and have my blankets in there. Also, you can use a magnet to see if it is brass. Magnets will not stick to brass, will stick to metal. Nice haul, love your videos!

Found you from Hilary’s channel. The green plastic plant is for an aquarium and when you’re not sure if something is brass use a magnet, if it doesn’t stick and it’s heavy it’s most likely brass. Light and magnet doesn’t stick most likely aluminum with golden overlay. Love your channel because you’re real (not even a thrifter), binge watched all your videos, please stay true to you, we don’t need anymore KZbin clones!

I’m in snow country…so we have HEAVY WINTER COATS ❄️🥶❄️ That BASKET ! How beautiful this that ! Love the green color. Rosie makes me think of our oldest granddaughter when she was little. She loved cowgirl boots, dressing up and tea party ! I miss those days ( now she is planning a Wedding…) Now your little pine tree is a real CAT TREE ! LOL!!! Adding a P.S. the doily is crochet, beautiful! The mittens, love! Check the date the encyclopedia was printed. They are a thing of the past as the internet is the go to for info now The wooden hangers! YES!!! This was a great haul!!!

Definitely keep the brass fire wood holder‼️ I would leave it inside though. Put some pine in the bottom of it, place some Birchwood logs in it and it would be absolutely breathtaking 😍
