Parts from different machines put together. McClaggen Canadian motor and a tonearm from a Silvertone machine. A cabinet from Thorens machine possibly. Concert reproducer from an English aftermarket from the 1920s. Different manufacturers components

Nice Gramophone shame he doesn't have some decent acoustic records and he needs to be more careful with the machine.

For someone that appears to like audio, he certainly doesn't like producing any on his own

When you crank it up, Is it a spring that is tightened and when released the knob to control the speed acts as a governor?

clearly looking like a Lindstrom machine the motor said made in Canada more like made for Canada! I'm pretty sure that's a german motor but one could order any text under a Linstrom motor since I'm pretty sure the rest of the case X the horn was made in Canada! although it's the standard german pillar design on the corners 9of the case! second thought it's simply an export machine! and, he never shows refurbishing either the motor or soundbox/reproducer. aka crap video eh, great rare machine though, and a bad choice of record for the machine way too late thus sounds like crap! it would sound better if you would have used a mid 20s to mid-30s record, not a near 60s record!
