If you are ever near Cross Plains Texas, you should see Woodys. Nothing for sale but as good a private car collection this side of Jay Leno. Totally free. Also nice collection of Texas Rangers baseball memorabilia. Special place.

Downtown Belton looks really nice. The local market looked fun. $325 for the Goodyear seems like a fair deal for an entry level collector.

Yes, the I thought about the Goodyear and the condition it was in. If it was priced a tad lower i might have considered it. And you're right, i don't think that there was enough meat on the bone for a reseller, but for an entry level collector it's a fair deal.

I hate it when a shop says Antiques get inside and it's nothing but new crafts. No antiques at all. 😡😡😡

My great great grandpa GW Tyler wrote the history of Bell County. Many of the old houses are some ancestors. It was to be the capital but Temple put the depot at the work camp and that became the big city. GW formed the TRRC as a Senator. I still visit and see family there.
