antiquing on ceramic bisque 101

Today Vickie joins Jan to show you the technique antiquing on ceramic bisque. Vickie is using just a plain piece of bisque while Jan is using a piece of ceramic that has been base coated and sprayed. This is a great technique that adds dimension to your piece.
Plus there are a couple of added bloopers in the end. So watch the video to the end for a couple of quick laughts.

The color is walnut that is made by Kimple colors. It is a water base antique solution. This is their website. You can go check it out and you should be able to find a shop near you that carries their colors. www.creativeparadiseceramics.com/

I used black chalk paint as a base coat can I antique over that

I don't think you would be able to antique over the black chalk paint. The antique would not been seen. I would recommend using a lighter color.
