sorry but very rarely is it simple in any way to kill a true mature buck,, they are tough to kill in most places. obviously there are properties that are managed for deer and deer alone and those places that keep low pressure and several hundred acres of goodcover with food close, then ya it does make killing a big buck much easier, but for the average guy killing 5 yr old or better buck is very complicated. 3 and even 4 yr old deer make alot more mistakes than 5 yr or older bucks,, they are a dif breed

Coulsnt agree more in that a mature buck is different breed and extremely tough to close the deal on. The “simple” approach discussed isn’t saying completing this task is simple rather, everything we as hunters can control. Seems we tend to over-complicate things from gear, shooting technique, over thinking where and when to hunt, etc. So Andy who I consider one of, if not the best hunter today breaks this down.
