He’s the best safety in the NFL, and it’s not close. He single handedly won multiple games for the Bucs this year. No weakness in his game, just an absolute game wrecker. He’s gonna be a very wealthy man, and he deserves every penny. No way the Bucs let him leave. Jason Licht has done an incredible job building this defense through the draft. Dean and David both had down years, but they’re good players when healthy. My biggest gripe with Bowles as a coach is that I strongly believe he misuses our corners way too often. They are both awful in zone coverage, but Bowles loves to play zone with those exotic blitzes. Let the dogs hunt, Dean and Davis are both plus man-to-man corners. I would love to see more press coverage when we send our blitzes, which plays to their strengths. Between the corners, Winfield, Diaby, Vita, and Kancey, Jason Licht has done a hell of a job drafting to build up this defense. We will need a Devin White replacement and I think we should draft someone to *eventually* replace Lavonte, but I think he comes back for at least one more year. Jason Licht has quietly been one of the top 3 GMs in football since 2019. I’m glad the Glazers stuck with him and realized the talent was always here, and the coaching was really what was holding us back. I don’t know if you can name a GM with more 3rd round to late UDFA picks that end up hitting and making an impact. Man, what a time to be alive when the Bucs are actually a well run organization and not an absolute dumpster fire. It was a rough 12 years between firing Gruden and getting Arians, but I think we finally have some stability in place that can see us remain competitive year in and year out. No more 3 win seasons for a while.

He got snubbed for the pro bowl, no way id Buddha Baker better than him snd hes o ly played 11 games. AWJ is by far the best safety in the league. Dont get me wrong there are other great safeties but when you look at his film and his stats there insane across the board. A lot of players have great stats in 1 or 2 of the defensive categories his are insane all the way. If anyone thinks hes going anywhere this offseason your crazy, if we dont have the money hell get the tag fpr sure. Tho he deserves and will get his bag.
