I believe what he is saying is that black men do not need black women because they have an open market to other races. However, black women are not highly sought after for long term relationships or marriage by men of other races. Black women are the least married, the most single parents and are closer to the poverty level than other race. The more we gaslight ourselves the longer we will be this statistic. Black men are marrying women of other races as black women are still trying to be Ms. Independent. I need my fiancé and daily I show up as the woman he wants. He takes care of me in life and my appreciation shows up in many ways as I take care of him in the home. I'm supportive and I understand that I am not the head of this household. It wasn't until I really started to listen to Kevin Samuels without taking the message personal, that I started really reevaluating myself and making adjustments. I'm a 6 figure earner and it feels amazing taking the load of the household off my shoulders because they were not built to carry the weight. When I met him I was already a business professional and business owner, I owned my house, and my kids were adults already. As black women we need to wake up and smell the coffee. Black men have no problem getting more agreeable, domesticated, feminine, fit women whom aren't baby mothers from other races. Some of us- most of us, have been with a strong-willed woman like Jas. It's beautiful in a way, but this is a woman who can't get out of her own way sometimes. She heard what she wanted to hear. Tukay did not present it as "I like other women, I wannna hit, whassup?". He said a man just tells you he has urges. She cooled out here. In a relationship, you will talk to this woman for 2 hours, in circles, finding new & creative ways to say the same shit you been saying, hoping she will finally stop hearing herself & actually hear you. It shouldn't be this difficult. I would never entertain a woman with this trait again. 85% of the relationship could be cool, but the one day a week you have to do this dance is enough to call it off. You'd be better off telling this type of woman, in a relationship, that "I' do what I do & if you don't like it, leave because I'm not about to talk in circles for hours because you can't hear the words I'm actually saying". But most guys want their woman to understand; they want to be able to open up to hear, be honest, have that one person in the world who knows them the most & is with them all the way. But, a lot of women these days are not prepared to deal with a man like that. Maybe not having parents model this means we get generations of people incapable of teaching themselves simple communication. Fellas, especially young men, the first time you get into one of these tiffs with a lady, take note & start seriously considering moving on. This has the potential to be very stressful.
