Well no. If a man can only pay 50% then that's a roommate. There's no reason to be sleeping with him AT ALL at 50%. HIs gilfriend called me like 6 months later trying to find out who I was. When she said "Ohh I'm his girlfriend". I said ooh wow , good for him! Well that's wonderful! I said well I'm glad to hear he settled down. I said so how did you two meet and how long have you two been together? ... She said......................10 years. Boom! I was like wait whaaat? 10 years? Then there was the couple that lived over me. The dude was pushing up to get in my face every chance he got. Showing off his watch,showing me his lates Iphone. Meanwhile his gf had some old cheap model. He tried to pretend like he was paying ALL OF THE BILLS. I brought it up again when she was around and her face screwed up and she snapped her head around to look at him like wtf? All of the bills. That's when I knew he was fronting and I thought how he was trying to hang in my face and hold my attention was rude. I got nasty and just got away. The thirst on him made my skin feel dry as hell. Annoying and gross! So glad they moved. It was uncomfortable. It's like 50-50 makes dude disrespect women to their face.

These women know who thwy are picking! My exwife was married to me for 9 years. Ive always outearned her through the majority of our relationship, barring my change from military service to civilian employment, where she briefly outearned me. After even before our divorce was complete, she had moved a man into HER APARTMENT whose car got repoed weeks later, who constantly borrows her minivan to donate blood for money, and who lost a CDL license for driving while intoxicated years prior. My stepdaughter also told me that he stole like $20 dollars from her, and guess what? My ex-wife made excuses for it and he still lives with her. Now if they break up, i guarantee you she is gonna talk ish about how he wasn't ish and couldn't keep a job and had to borrow her car and stole money from her kids, but she's not gonna admit that her friends and family warned her and she damn sure aint gonna admit that she knew he was basically a bum and she moved him in anyway.

I think you might have went wrong when you said "equally." Life definitely has a variety of complications, but the degrees of difficulty are certainly NOT equal. If life was a race, some people can run smoothly, while others have hurdles & traps. We should also consider that there are some who have ALL of those difficulties and must run BAREFOOT. Everyone winds up out of breathe, but there are inevitably those who are given an oxygen mask and electrolytes at the end of the race. Let's also not forget about those who are given a trophy, but didn't even really participate...They didn't even break a sweat. I had roomates up until my 40s because I live in a very expensive city. I stacked my coins, and when I lost my job during the Pandemic, I was not stressed at all. I ended up transitioning into consulting work and ended up increasing my income considerably. I currently cohabitate with a sibling, to keep saving money. There is no financial benefit to paying all the bills all by yourself, either live with family, live with friends, or live with your spouse.
