Excellent advice. As always. Prepare with feeling building muscles memory. For results when needed.

Personally, I love wood over metal. It helps let me know where I'm hitting the ball and how much power I have, since wood is nerfed more than metal. Plus I feel like the wood has more customization options with bat tape and such.

When I use to play I used wood over metal anytime I could. For school it was what ever you wanted, but I used metal. During practice I'd use wood. Summer ball was strictly wood and if I went to college on a baseball scholarship before I hurt my elbow, I wouldn't have had to bat because pitchers were DHed. But, I would have used wood there likely too

Have you ever heard of Metalwood bats? I have no clue if they make them anymore but it had a metal handle and a bamboo barrel so you got the weight and feel of wood without the risk of a broken bat

Idk maybe it’s just me and the fact that I haven’t played in a long time but when I was younger I always felt like I hit better when using a wood bat it always felt smoother to me have you ever encountered a player that was more comfortable with wood compared to metal and was a more consistent hitter with wood

I look at metal bats like you look at Nike fielding gloves, I can’t ever find a model I like. Every one of them to me is top heavy so I swing wood bats, specifically a Louisville slugger t141 because of the incredible balance. Please let me know if there are any metal bats like the t141 so I can try them out cause I’m having trouble finding a good one

Metal bats should be eliminated in all men's softball league. The games just become one long batting practice.
