I worked at an industrial gases refinery separating and storing liquid Argon, Nitrogen and Oxygen. His feet defiantly came in contact with a puddle of liquid Nitrogen. Only takes a few seconds.

as an aside I can only relate to what happens to plants, the water inside their cells usually freezes and it causes the cells to burst, which then causes them to lose water, which then causes them to die which causes the necrosis. I live in the desert so grow many types of cacti and succulents and ironically enough when they get necrosis they look kinda like AB's feet , but the biggest difference is they are black and mushy.

I got into a fight at a bar where I was hit in the face with a bottle. I had major swelling on my head and face. Coincidentally the next day for a gift I went to cryotherapy where they were able to apply the cold air thru a vacuum hose directly to my injuries. The swelling and pain went away immediately after. I recommend it.
