Musicalement entre Bach et Vivaldi, on dirait, cette exécution du requiem de Lotti est de haut niveau. Magnifique

Lotti est un musicien merveilleux qui a compris le baroque à la hauteur de vivaldi et corelli. Cette interprétation ouvre des possibles audaces encore sages ... je crois qu'on pourrait théâtralité encore plus dans ses œuvres profanes les œuvres religieuses demandent un peu de retenue... mais ici, il y a vraiment ce qu'il faut.. bravissimo!!!!

11.00 you can hear the theme that Handel borrowed for his marvelous chorus "and with His stripes we are healed"

Let's face it: Mozart in his most beautiful Requiem obviously borrowed the theme from Lotti's Requiem. play and compare it and you will be most surprised. Why musicologists never detected the similarities between the two pieces yet?????? lso the intro from its harmonic structure is very similar. Lotti had died 50 years before the Mozart composition had been first performed after Mozart's death which is certainly one of the greatest pieces of music ever written
