My take on QBs: 1) right now start Ridder so we can see if he’s one of our backup QBs. 2) Minshew we know isn’t good enough nor does he maintain confidence. 3) When Aiden returns let him start to get reps and see how he progresses. Best case he shines and there’s our QB. Worst case, he’s our #2 or #3 QB.

There is one glaring issue going forward and that is the HC/OC duo we will need with our new QB from the draft. Every new coach wants their own QB in place and this will be the perfect time for an outstanding OC to be the next Raiders HC. He will get his own OC to mirror his offense. This is a perfect opportunity for somebody. Going along with this is the RB position. We no longer have a true #1 RB, but the good news is this draft is FULL of quality RBs and we should get a real game breaker. That extra R3 pick looks really good about now.

Why bring in Norv Turner? Other than being on the Cowboy's staff during two of their Super Bowls, which was 30 years ago, what has he really done? When everyone started talking about firing Getsy they would ask who would replace him. My immediate thoughts were Philbin. He has been a successful OC and is already on the staff. Damm Des Ridder just got there last week. Of course he wont look good. Any body good at there job after 4 months not working with 1 week of training? Most likely not. Bringing in a coach who hasn't been in the NFL since 2019, hasn't been in the organization and is 72 years old screams of desperation. I think it goes deeper. Nobody wants this head coaching job and I don't think anyone on this staff wants it either. So they need to bring in Norv Turner to be the HC to finish out the season when they fire AP. It makes no sense, we have a bunch of former HC on this staff, why bring in another one midseason.
