Actually a "Guàrdia Urbana" agent (Barcelona's local police) picked the arrow when it hit the ground behind the stadium. Now that arrow is exposed at the Olympic and Sports Museum near the stadium.

He was suppose to over shoot the cauldron, the flame ignited the gas that was coming out

apparently he deliberately fired it too far as it was too risky if it fell short or whatever. but from the camera angle it was cleverly hidden.

I fell that it isnt the arrow It is just a tiny flame that jumped from the torch

It looks like that the arrow COULD have hit the couldren and deflected out. The flame looks different as it passes past the cauldren.
