One of my favourite concerto in classical period. It‘s best to listen 3rd movement when I feel depressed.

Rosetti's music is always light-hearted and joyous. Here is a perfect example of it. I still can't understand why people in the 18th Century wrote such happy carefree music considering the conditions they lived under. But wait, we all need need cheering up today, especially in the light of this terrible virus. This is good medicine!!

David A In a way, I find it easy to understand, they were in a healthier state of mind. Our technology hasn’t brought peace of mind and soul has it? Amenities yes but you find people in the most fragile of mental states. They had hope in higher things and generally less polluted from both within and without.
