Surviving a Freezing Cold Night with a Long-Log Fire | 2 Days Solo Bushcraft

To survive the night at around -5 degrees Celsius, I constructed a small shelter from deadwood and some pine branches. To keep my sleeping bag dry, I used the remaining pine branches as a bedding, ensuring I stayed dry and much more comfortable than on the hard snow. To stay warm throughout the night, I lit a long log fire that burned until morning, providing cozy warmth. The next morning, I enjoyed a hot coffee before embarking on my journey home.
Thanks for watching!

wow, you can tell that long fire is putting out some serious heat when you can see that all the snow has melted off between the shelter and the fire! I bet that was a cozy night under the stars!

Nice work young man. Beautiful location, nice shelter. Hot meal. A lot of people cant appreciate how much work that is. Maybe a little more cleanup before leaving, but perhaps you are planning to return there. Cheers!

Cool but the fire was out by morning. If a storm had come up while he was sleeping he would have been very very cold. You should always keep your fire going all night while out in cold conditions.

If someone could tell me what the herb (weed) add in 18:45 all vids have this, it have taste of "erva mate" or so?! I'm very thankfull if some could say!! That image in 17:57 that I talking about a good and big camp fire lol!! And that frame in 15:10 it's at least peculiar wtih many fire's fonts and you just heating yourself it's crazy lol lol!! I watch a vid that show a fire that last more than 1 day, it's all horizontaly logs, not so big like those, but they spread dirty, some sand above woods, and 3 floors of woods, it seams work it but I don't know huh! Anyways, great video and adventure like the other when you build a igloo of nothing lol!! I can't realise what is ..>=> ... living or camping in such cold weather and with those tons of snow lol!! Here in my country we just have few amounts of snow so... Just living in Canada or Europe for I have such joy of camping and doing jokes like that lol! And seams great meal in te end, I was thinking that you just roast a steak but no, made a "stew" I think huh! And you a master cheef in sliceing huh! :) Anyways, thank you to fine video before sleep!! I'm subscribeing to not lose other vids, hugs from far aways, or "see ya!"

Nobody needs to watch people cook the stuff they brought from home. That's not survival, that's backyard camping. His house is probably 100 yards away.
