@@teamtwerk98 I don't know, I kinda found her "Rock-a-by baby" bit with Maggie funny. But on another note, look at Marge and Homer at 1:48, they look like they're in their 50s. Compare that to how they look in like seasons 4 - 12, they look in their 30s (which they were). I've noticed numerous times in the Ullman shorts, Marge and Homer look like older people than they do later on when the full episode series went underway. They looked, and even acted older in season 1 than later on, and they looked and act even older in these shorts. It's like they went from their 50s (shorts) to their 40s (season 1) to their 30s (season 2 or 3 and all seasons after). Homer's looks and how he acted kept appearing younger like that, he acted more like a strict uptight old crank in these shorts and season 1, and then in later seasons he acts silly, goofy, and impulsive. Anyone else notice this? Have you noticed this?

As it gets renewed for more seasons the animation process should become tighter and or more money goes into the process. The OP was about the personalities of the characters changing. They often do inorder to focus on what the audience likes. Peter Griffen and Homer Simpson both go from regular blue collared working fathers to special needs for example.

Homer in 1987: smarter, voice was different, didn’t worked at h the power plant. Homer in the rest of the seasons: dumber, voiced changed, works at a power plant. Marge in 1987: shorter hair, more restricted, voice was a little different. Marge in the rest of the seasons: longer hair, voice changed a little, less restricted, Bart in 1987: had barely change Bart in the rest of the seasons: is a prankster Lisa in 1987: dumber than Bart, still a meat eater, was just as bad as Bart Lisa in the rest of the seasons: smarter than Bart, vegetarian, more good than Bart. So I just started watching season 1 of the Simpsons on Disney plus. I was confused because I thought this was what season one looked like when I watched it on fox in the mid 90s. Did they actually show reruns of the shorts from Tracy Ulman on fox in the 90s? Or maybe just these clips? If not I am confused about where I saw these lol.
