This is one of my favorite songs from Starset ever and it's usually looked down upon because it doesn't go as hard and sounds poppy. But it has one of the most beautiful verses out of everything that Starset has put out. Dustin's voice in this song is just traumatizingly beautiful

And such a heartbreaking story of loss due to self absorption. Reflecting on what he had and why it's gone, combined with the notes he chooses and the yearning and pain in his voice as he sings them... This song always brings me to the verge of tears. ❤❤❤

There is something so mysterious and esoteric in the music behind starset. Almost like its from another world

This song is actually what got me into STARSET, and is still one of my favorites. It's a good mix of pop, electronic, and some rock here and there. I am now deeply obsessed with STARSET and have been to two demonstrations and even got to meet them! Really cool and genuine people and their music is just so amazing

"The only stress I feel comes from myself". Same. I suffer from anxiety since I was 12 haha it does get easier... but you gotta go it every day! -BH I ALSO love this song, specially the visuals, to me it reminded me of Little Nightmares, but I just love how tiny it is, the black and white style that contrasts with the colourful and "psychedelic" outside touch; as in life we are often B/N, we are often lost and forget our way, but there's always something that makes us remind us who we are. The part of "I was in such a hurry" also resonates with me, because anxiety makes you focus on the future and you forget about profiting from the present moment. And then, time passes and you wonder where did it all go, what did you do with it? Worry all the time. and sometimes, it is not other people who give up on ourselves; it IS ourselves, which is perfectly depicted in the video when the tiny creature falls on its own... At the end of the day it is our echo the one that saves us. Our words, our thoughts about ourselves, us, even when we think it's about someone else, it's always about us, and that is not bad at all. React to Perfect Machine and Disappear please!

nice to see starset built horizons upon the things that worked on divisions and improved on it

Honestly I'm disappointed with Horizons. I do need to listen to all of the tracks separately, but I don't think my overall opinion is going to change to much. I hear bits and pieces taken from previous works, but improved Is...debatable. It's not a bad album per se, it's just that it seemed to not stand out track by track like they typically do. On all of the last albums I can easily listen to just a brief part from any track and tell what it was. On Horizons, I'm not picking up on any major differences. The middle section is the worst offender of this. I thought I was listening to the same song multiple times over and I honestly got bored through one of them. Even one of the best tracks 'Something wicked' is lackluster and it's ending makes me suggest the guys are teasing a second album that's meant to make sense of this one. Sorry for such a lengthy comment, but after liking the previous albums so much, the fact that a much larger one that's meant to be a successor, falls so flat for me is disheartening

Out of all albums, in my opinion, Horizons has great songs, yet it's the least album i enjoy. I like it when Starset sounds epic, powerful, mysterious and beautiful all at once. Horizons is a disappointment to many. I have always wanted starset to create a song like disappear. They're all still cool and beautiful songs that are far better than most music i ever hear in the world, but compared to what Starset has already done, this album is their worst though it's a fantastic album on it's own. I've been listening to it daily trying to get a feeling for it and going to the mountains and woods to watch the stars trying to find that feeling for each song individually. Once it comes to me out of the blue, I'll appreciate it much more. The main disappointment i had was the actual cd case of the album, it could rip, the cd and book can easily fall out, etc. I thought they would make a case like they did divisions where it's covered with plastic and it's sturdy, but... No. But I'm sure some people would love this album more than all others, some people will always just like what's new better each time, and I'm sure in a time and place, certain songs will have their purpose and serve it when needed most.

The bridge leading to the last chorus is ethereal! Going to see them live for the 3rd time December 11th! I discovered them when My Demons hit the local rock radio-station, really digged the song but I was younger and almost a metal elitist. My prior relationship was filled with both beautiful and dark moments. Lyrically, I was able to connect to Starset through those few years. Especially with songs like Dark on me, and Let it Die. Now doing much better and in a new relationship, I can look back and honestly say I grew with this band.

It's interesting that the video reminded you of Hollow Knight, because it reminded me of a video game too. For me, though, it was Journey, that game where you play a little red-cloaked creature traveling through a desert to get to a mountain and climb it, and along the way they learn about the story behind the postapocalyptic landscape they're traveling through. I feel like the Echo unit and the Wayfarer have very similar designs and their stories similar arcs.
