It's disturbing to see Forrest Bedford, who's been earnest and upright throughout 25 episodes, being duplicitous and slimy as he tries to enlist the young man as an informant.

You think it's duplicitous and slimy for law enforcement to enlist informants. How do you think the authorities bring down drug dealers, organized criminals and other lawbreakers where direct evidence is lacking?

@@gheller2261 Of course any viewer of crime drama is familiar with the role of the undercover agent but in the context of the character of Forrest Bedford it was jarring.
