I never realised that how much I had missed these programmes, as I gave up on watching mainstream media since 2016 beginning, as almost all channels became a mouthpiece of government. I wanted to listen to this bhajan and did a google search & stumbled upon this Indian Idol programme and this song. This daughter of ours have done us proud and has sung it so so well that words would not do justice to this. This is a marvellous rendition of this song by late Lata ji. I have not heard anyone sing this song as mellifluously with so much of passion. TV has given some wonderful talent discovery, she is one gem that hardly would need much polishing. She is endowed with the blessings of Saraswati and let her stay blessed with her blessings. Incidentally, she motivated me to subscribe to SET India on KZbin & in last 5 days I have heard her songs umpteen number of times and I am not tired. This is a compliment from a 62 year man, who perhaps is also the elder social brother to her parents. Stay blessed and enthrall the world with your singing. Now the world is your stage & not Bollywood or any music studio. In order to have a boutique of musical repertoire, she must enrich her musical experiences beyond Indian semi classical. How about getting a formal degree in Music from The Royal Academy of Music/ Royal College of Music or Yale School of Music? You have now enough connections to reach there, but should you need, then I am there for you to help. God bless the talents and all.

Arunita was the runaway winner but II12 team only promoted Pawan from the beginning. On singing front, Pawan is way behind her. He may be more talented overall bcoz of his instrument playing. But Indian Idol is a pure singing show. Here only singing should have mattered not sympathy and other talents. Even today he gets shows only bcoz of Arunita.
