I read Paul Davies's book " The Goldilocks enigma " and I found it very interesting. I share many of his ideas and I will continue to buy and study his books in the future.

I agree that they didn't get into it as deeply as they might have but I thought it was interesting anyway. The "Eerie Silence" lecture that they mentioned at the beginning of the interview is available on KZbin. If you haven't seen it I would recommend it. He goes into considerable detail about the possibility of life elsewhere in the universe. He covers SETI, the Drake equation, and panspermia among other things.
