Thing with me is I was with someone for five years and we never was trying to get pregnant but we wasn't using condoms and I did keep track of my periods on a regular and my periods are regular and as a female I know that you have to be ovulating in order to fertilize my eggs and he always tried to put the blame on me for not getting pregnant and he would always you know just disregard it when I would tell him we have to have sex when I'm ovulating in order to have a baby. Just because I was fat, literally. I said “cuz I’m fat?” And she said “well, it is related” 😐😐😐 I was not taken seriously. Trying for a year and a half and nothing and the doctor wouldn’t even listen to me and was very judgemental. Like all my issues come from being fat, not maybe I have PCOS and have infertility issues etc from it. TMI: if you don’t wanna read about my symptoms basically (including periods), please don’t read further Basically, I went in bc my periods have been very inconsistent since I was about 16. I’d be 40 days late (so like my cycles would last over a hundred days) and this only got worse. I gained 50 lbs, my periods got worse. I have hair on my stomach and just in weird places, my grandma and mom have PCOS and were diagnosed but I’ve never been diagnosed (yet, I’m 99% positive I have PCOS). In 2020 I had only 3 periods, not because I’d have a normal period and it would not show back up for months, but because I literally was on my period for a majority of the year. From February 13th to august 1st I was on my period. HEAVY. Unhealthily heavy, too. And then at the end of the year from December to the beginning of this year I was on my period for a month straight, but since I was 16 or so my periods were 40-70 days late and then I’d bleed for 2 or 3 weeks straight. So I finally got the courage to go into a gynecologist and she completely disregarded all of that information because I was fat and just told me I should get blood work done bc I’m probably pre-diabetic and being fat and pre diabetic is related 😞
