You push yourself more than anyone else can!

crazy good! i read on his site or when i bought the album he said he programmed the bass and guitar. i had no idea he actually played and tracked all the guitar samples himself. this just makes it all the double epic!

Anup is an awe inspiring composer and musician. Even calling him a 'drummer', seems to be somewhat of a misrepresentation of the wide range of skills he has!

I'm super late here, but I used to do this so sweat didn't destroy the plastic on the part that surrounds the ear. Also prevented my sweat from reaching the speakers in the headphones. Not sure if it's like that for Anup though.

As hard as I try not to be discouraged by both your performance and your composition skills, when comparing your work to mine, the feeling is overwhelming. The one burning question I have about Anup's tunes: when he hits the lowest string real hard and lets it ring at 3:54, the note does this awesome half step slide down. I want to know if this is intentional or if its just a result of lose strings being tuned so low.
@eveningrose58558 жыл бұрын
I'm thinking it's because he hit the string hard enough to raise its initial pitch, which then slides down due to the vibrations slowly losing energy. Either that, or it's a great 1st fret with a subtle pull-off to the open string.
@theax408 жыл бұрын
Yea I wondered if it's intentional. It happens so much and then there are times when it could or should happen and doesn't. There's a few of his riffs I've kind of figured out how to play but this particular technique or whatever you want to call it is difficult to recreate. I just end up fretting the first fret and it's not quite the same. This dude's music is ridiculous.
@ryanlaidlaw891210 жыл бұрын
Hey Anup, i recently just got the same pedal that you have, could you please tell me what those kicks that start at 1:43 are and what the sticking is for the feet. That would be much appreciated if you can. Thanks dude
@spaceboy74139 жыл бұрын
It's actually RLRL all the way through. Sounds crazy, but Anup wrote that part so that the downbeat of 1 always ends on the right foot. Think of it as a rhythm from bleed by meshuggah.
