I didn't realize how complex the drumming was until watching this. Damn. Gives me a whole new appreciation for the song. Well done!

Has anyone else actually tried to play this?! The beat at 4:20 to the solo is insanely syncopated and accented, absolute individual control of each of your appendages is required, I think it's the hardest part of the song. You have to play it to understand it. So good, so fun. Thank You!
@FededeDiosDrums8 жыл бұрын
actually a lot of it is groups of 3 between kick and snare as ksskss which he does, i think there are a lot of harder things in here, like that super fast fill going out of the solo

This is MUSICIANSHIP of the highest order. You play some incredibly complicated parts, yet are always playing *to the song.* The passion you bring to this music is intense, and the way you stoke and build the fire over the last couple of minutes is a large part of why this song is such a great closer to the album. Keep it coming, brother.

I just wanted to say that u are my favorite drummer as of now. Im new to your channel and every video is absolutely perfect. I hope one day I can play somewhere close to your style because it sounds so good in nearly any circumstance. I just wanted to ask a quick question as well. Have u ever heard of this relatively small band called Auras? If not, u should take a listen to their album called "panacea". Its pretty short. I really was wondering if just maybe u could play a drum cover to any one of their songs because the drumming reminds me of your style which includes much of the amazing ghost notes (which I believe u should be famous for lol). They don't have any clean vocals--which I hope u don't mind--but the music is phenomenal. I really think u would enjoy doing covers of their songs. Anyways it was just a thought. Thanks for taking the time to read this. I really hope u never give up drums because u are really something special. Thanks, and have a great day.

The way you hit the Toms is just pure bliss.Also,the tones sound very natural than your previous videos,it's like you are playing them in front of us,almost.The cymbals,toms and snare sound just amazing,although I'd think of making the kick a little more thicker if I could naturally,but that's just me.One last thing,why you no put the top view cam?I love those in the past videos. :) Cheers \m/ You kill it everytime.
@asdrummer200810 жыл бұрын
Thanks a lot for the feedback! Yea I need to work on my source sound a lot more. I really want to start uploading very natural sounding audio, almost barely touched from what I tracked in other words. I'll keep the suggestions in mind. And I stopped using the top cam primarily because Im trying to keep my video editing a bit simpler.
@ShankulChavan10 жыл бұрын
Please use the top cam too bro,it's like something's missing in here video wise and that's the solution. :)

Once more, you're a part of this never ending burning fire. Bring some peace to my tired eyes. Take this higher when angels sing with voices of the night. I dream of endless light, a life I sacrificed. I walk through endless night. Then I'm gone again. Once more, we're a part of this constant motion. Give me the strength to keep my body going. Hide in darkness till the day is done. Exposed to so much danger, pacifying strangers. It's a story that I wrote for you, listen closely as I break through. This effigy is spinning free. I dream of endless light, a life I sacrificed. The flood of power will be overwhelming. Run, hide until it's over. Didn't you see I was sinking? I was drowning overboard. I awaken. Sleep with tainted thoughts until the day that you grow old. It's a forgiving notion. I've never been so emotionally blind, I'll never give up and drop, and I know I'll never come back down from here, resisting gravitation. The stars have never been unkind, the galaxies burn into and I know they'll never leave my mind. Life is constant motion, the moon is round but has two sides, the light shines deep into and I see myself in those blue eyes, you are my incarnation. Crying eyes, give me clarity within the darkness. Hide away until the day is done. Reveal to me your nature, secret prying stranger. It's the greatest day you'll ever know. Save me from these crying eyes. Give me strength to keep my body going. Hold my heart and let the blood flow. Exposed to so much danger, pacifying strangers. It's the greatest day you'll ever know. Save me from this drowning state Give in to the flood. This is my last devotion to you. Give in to the endless flood. This is my last devotion to you.

I love it .. And I'm lucky to see this video because normally I wouldn't have klicked on it because you kind of always do the same .. It's very complicated, so complicated that I don't understand whats going on, so all sounds kind of equal to me.. Don't get me wrong, your videos are of a very high quality, but for me it has always been that super brutal and super fast and frantic - so after a while boring .. So now, I'm really happy to see what you are able to do in other musical directions :) Cheers !

Hey Anup! Sick video as always. Kind of a weird question, but what kind of shoes are you wearing? I noticed in the last vid and in this one that you weren't wearing your usual Globe shoes. Did they wear out or did you lose 'em, or did you find these to be more suitable for drumming in?

Any reason you like the 4 piece set up ?? I used to play a 6 piece but like the 4 piece keeps you focused I think!?!?🤔🤔
@kaboomeow9 жыл бұрын
+warwick724 It's a preference thing. I used to aspire to play massive sets like Neil Peart and Portnoy, but I stripped myself down to nothing but a single pedal, 4-piece, hi-hat, and ride for about 6 months recently, and I'll just say that there's no turning back. I feel like it makes me rely more on making things sound interesting and different, rather than letting a bunch of drums and cymbals do it for me. Either way, it's all preference. Also, he plays a 5-piece.
