Masha Allah, I am from Kashmir too and it is interesting about our land that here have been many Awliya,Wali and other Godly persons and maybe that is the reason kashmir actually is kashmir.I am a little familiar of many awliya because my Dad visits such places for the purpose of refreshment and hidayah. There is a lot,i really mean it,a lot wonderful to know about this beautiful heaven on earth. But due to this dirty geopolitics and the foreign invasion,kashmir is now losing its charm. But,as Allah(swt)says; Best is for,the believers.
