@@TacticalBaguette I think that shot may have been the first time the primary sight on a tank has been used as a movie camera lmao. I saw the awesome view and just turned the reticle brightness down.

I was stationed in Korea for 9 months back in 2020. Shot gunnery at Rod Range and got to see your impressive K1A2s in person which was really cool. Our tanks look pretty similar on the inside too.

Decades of untrained amateur armies using outdated tanks in small scale uncoordinated operations made the public forget just how capable they are in the right hands and, equally important, fitted with and accompanied by the right systems like APS and SHORAD.

Russia has lost all of its T80's and is now using 60 year old tanks on the front lines. Russian stuff is and always has been, shit. The Abrams wipes its ass with T90's and pisses on T80's.

@@Error-5478 Western training and commanding could probably even make T-80s work, arguably severely handicapped by gun depression, reverse speed, no neutral pivot, optronics, secondary survivability, ergonomics and much more. A long list. Western tanks are still decades ahead. Polish tankers had the direct 1:1 comparison when they transitioned from PT-91 (an already improved Polish version of the T-72) to still relatively old Leopard 2A4. What they said would hurt every Soviet tank enthusiasts for several weeks. T-90 is a media overhyped T-72 modernization anyways. It was renamed from T-72BU after the first buttkicking of T-72 by Abrams in Desert Storm. People who actually have a clue all agree that the best tank in Russian service remains the T-80BVM. Well, the 4 that are left.

@@StormerSixActual Hello. I am from Poland. I work as a military journalist and I do have friends in the Polish Army that serve as tank crews. Some general conclusions. Pros: 1. US Army training system is superior to any other training system they ever encountered. 2. Cooperation with US Army and GDLS is superb. I can confirm this as I visited training center, and AFAIK I am so far only polish journalist that was allowed by US Army to train gunnery at AGTS simulator. 3. M1A1FEP and M1A2SEPv3 are considered as the best armored and safest tank we have. God bless isolated ammunition magazines with blow off panels. 4. M1's ergonomics are superb. 5. FCS and sights are great. Cons. 1. There are some concerns about fuel efficency. Its not a huge problem, but a diesel would be preferable. 2. Would be good to replace a suspension from torsion bars to hydropneumatic InArm type. But its more because Polish Army is in general in love with InArm suspension system. 3. Weight is kinda issue, but not critical. Probably more a thing to adjust to a vehicles weighting over 60 metric tons. There are probably more observations that Polish Army have, and proposals for improvements. Overall opinion about M1 is in general positive. Of course there is still plenty of space for improvements.

Chose a 6 year infantry contract, got to the big army recently and the plan signing a contract was to do 6 infantry and then 1-2 years as a tanker but here I am a temporary tanker for probably 1-2 years, great videos shit gets me hyped tf up

@@Bundesfaust Oh damn I always assumed your videos were all filmed on some training range in the US. Didnt even consider this was my country. The Gunnery table targets look like the ones on the GHPC Grafenwöhr tank range so that was the only clue i guess. But yeah i like the BMP-2 we shouldve just kept all the NVA stuff instead of selling/scrapping it, fuck easier maintenance.

@@Max-il5vh They're good training aids for OPFOR to use. Polish T72s are used in that capacity so seeing one in your sights and knowing it's supposed to be enemy presents some realistic training.
