In this podcast episode, DARE coaches Michelle Cavanaugh and Aida Beco engaged in a lively conversation addressing questions about handling anxiety after panic attacks. They discussed the importance of not trying to force oneself back into a state of calm immediately after a panic attack and instead, expect and accept the heightened state for a while.
Michelle and Aida suggested to try and implement more relaxing things in your day-to-day life and setting a goal to keep stress levels normal. They also touched upon the misinterpretation of sensations and thoughts, encouraging listeners to adopt an attitude of acceptance and allowing discomfort.

It would be great to have some resources on how anxiety recovery looks different in, or could be adapted for, people with autism or ADHD.

This doing loop happens to me at work I'm driven to work faster and harder to relieve the perceived danger of not getting through it all. I'm always early with my projects and completely exhausted.
