Claire Weekes who was well ahead of her time would call it floating through anxiety. I think of this when im at the swimming pool with my daughter and i lie on my back and float on the water with minimal effort rather than a huge coordinated effort of flapping my arms around to stay a float. Claire Weekes was once asked if she had experienced panic attacks. She replied “Yes, I have had what you call panic attacks. In fact, I still have them. Sometimes they wake me at night.” The interviewer replied “I’m sorry to hear that.” She responded “Save your sympathy for someone else. I don’t need it or want it. What you call a panic attack is merely a few normal chemicals that are temporarily out of place in my brain. It is of no significance whatsoever to me!

Yes, anxiety is so difficult - my thoughts are full of fear. Hard to breath when walking outside and digestive issues. They say just five-ten minutes of exercise will lower the corisol level due to anxiety. I just did 1/2 hour stretches and that helped. Next I will lift some 5 lb weights. The herb ashwaganda also lowers corisol levels due to anxeity and has a calming affect on the brain.

Anxiety the biggest thing for me. All my PDP started there. Over 30 years, other sensations last 9 years. Higher and lower depends on life. Am getting out and going through it, it's the only way out. My life so restricted but I've made a decision to do the best I can to engage, book classes etc. Dan's way is the way out. A lot of us get blowback anxiety after pushing ourselves out, this too is normal. You're safe.

I READ THAT WHEN YOU WAKE UP GET UP AND DO NOT LINGER IN BED. I FEEL THE CORTISOL AT 4 AM AND IT'S DARK AND I CANNOT START THE DAY THEN AND GO OUTSIDE FOR SOME SUN/DAYLIGHT FIRST THING BECAUSE IT'S DARK. So timely! This was me last night and this morning. Experienced a panic attack that was coming in waves. I even told my husband I would rather have my pain. So funny how the pain dies down when the panic attack sets in. Eventually worked through it watching Animal Planet- Oceans. I love all those quirky ocean animals. Hi Dan! Love your videos, thank you so much! Anxiety certain times of the day (always morning, night etc) is a conditioned response I would think? That's what's happening with me! I currently have something Nichole Sachs calls the "symptom imperative" - I have been doing the work and some chronic stuff is lessening but my old friends nighttime and morning anxiety has came back! The stuff with the stress hormones really hit home for me. I just sensitised myself to the natural stress hormones in the morning. I am just going to try and work with that now. Instead of being scared I will observe it and do something with those hormones, like a little morning exercise. The adrenaline and cortisol is the perfect fuel for this. PS: look out for me. I will be contacting you with my recovery story when the time comes ;)

Panic attacks are brutal. I have them at least twice a day for no reason. I have been anxious all my life, but now I spiral straight into panic attacks. I am scared of my own body. Nothing from the outside, but what I feel in my body. I feel like I have no control of anything in my life. I can't control pain and other symptoms and I can't stop the panic attacks. I feel like I constantly talk to my brain saying that I am safe, but it does not work, and then I get frustrated and angry at my body for not cooperating.
@PainFreeYou
@PainFreeYou 6 ай бұрын
Your body has nothing to do with the panic attacks. It's all driven by fear in the brain. And often, the fear of panic attacks that keeps the fear going. Trying to control the uncontrollable is the recipe for frustration. And, the more you try to control, the more out of control you feel. Watch this: kzbin.info/www/bejne/hX25h4KBbryqe68

I have tons and tons of symptoms and now suddenly I seem to have developed severe allergy to something (pollen or house dust mite allergie or whatever) which makes my eyes and nose burn all the time and my breathing is not okay. I’m not even sure its allergies because no one ever knows what the hell is wrong with me. How am I ever going to feel safe with all of this?! I tired telling myself I’m okay and safe when I obviously feel very ill. I mean, if you have a few symptoms I get that you can get better. But what if you have hundreds of symptoms- I’m not even exaggerating- how can I ever feel okay again? Pains, fatigue, IBS, breathing problems, nausea, weak legs, dry eyes, burning nose, reflux, heel pain, fibromyalgia, brain fog, depression, anxiety and so much more… help.
