ANXIOUS DOBERMAN STATE OF MIND DOG TRAINING PART 1

Anxiety is one of the most common problems amongst dogs rights now.
Anxiety just like in humans creates high levels of stress and you struggle to relax, anywhere outside your comfort zone.
This dog is no different. In the house he is a lovely a chilled boy, outside he is constantly switched on and alert, he does not have an off switch.
Now this started from to much excitement and now it’s gone beyond that and it’s anxiety.
He is a high energy boy and because of this, his owners have done high energy activities with him, such as bike riding, running and letting him run on a long line. His obedience training also consists of a lot of excitement.
Now this has actually been the route cause. Everything is exciting. He has never been told to do nothing outside, never been taught to switch off.
This video focuses on how we go beyond obedience and focus on state of mind. How we can change a dogs state of mind and how even sometimes, through obedience training, you can actually be rewarding the wrong thing and making matters worse.

Need to work on this with my anxious Australian shepherd, he gets soo crazy when he knows we're going outside. Doesnt matter if he's coming with or staying home he loses his mind, whines like crazy.

This is the video I needed to see. I have two rescued border collies who are very anxious all the time I’ve been trying to train them on thresholds they sit, they wait as soon as we move off they go bonkers again. I never knew what I was doing wrong now I can see. Please keep making these super videos x

Oh my goodness what a beautiful boy. When you uploaded this I thought it was a video about Logan. Otto and Logan had exactly the same issues. They look pretty similar as well apart from the ears and tail.

KiwiFactor he is not as bad as Logan but not far from it. They almost have identical issues. This dog can’t go off lead, nuts around dogs. Ironically this Doberman also lives in London 😂

@@southenddogtraining1 Logan is a different dog now. Off leash reliable and can cope better around other dogs. He's recovering from his neuter and I'm already seeing his frustrations for not being allowed to roam going away.

My brown dobi is just like him know i have a baby and he is super friendly but his exitement goes to sprining an running around and it can be dangerous (he is massive). Just like him in the car or the bad pulling on the leash. He loves human but hes sniffing to much in the upper aera and his exitment is so big that he jumps and jumps to the sofas. I love him but some days its hard.

because he's not trained correctly and the trainer has no clue how to train him so the only way they can show control and the illusion of training is to introduce pain as a control factor . That's not an ANXIOUS DOBERMAN , he's excited and alert typical Doberman with working lines
