the most underrated track on the album- love the way the synthesizers keep repeating the notes, pure bliss

Fucking excellent tune. The bass just taps along with a rainbow of sound around it. If you don’t like this, you’re dead.

It os okay to color outside the lines in your ccoloring book. Pink Floyd colors outside the lines in their music every time. Heaven.

Specifically this song hits so much harder when you heard Us and Them before 😇👍🏻

People look at me weird when I say this is my favorite song on the album. It’s just absolutely brilliant which orgasmically goes through your body like a complete mindfuck.

Actually it's mine as well. Moreover there are fantastic live versions such as Brighton 72 or Wembley 74.

This is the song that will play in my final moments. I've loved this song since my dad blasted this on vinyl back in the 80s when i was a kid. It's cosmic.

It’s a Pink Floyd the name itself is beyond beauty

I’m glad this generation is discovering Pink Floyd, but they just never understand that they are pieces of music meant to be listened to as a whole. They are not bits on your cell phone. They are not top 10 hits they are pieces of music which are meant to be listen to in its entirety, with every bit of respect as any other classical master like Beethoven or Mozart, because this is how this music will be perceived in the future

Took long enough for ppl to find this. When I rode the school bus as a young lad I listened to this twice a day. Right befor I got off the bus and as soon as I got back on. I felt it gave me the mood to not care but, also be kind. Any colour you like

You should really listen to Pink Floyd in whole albums. It's nice to listen to the indevidual songs, but it's a whole new experince to do in albums. I would suggest you start with The Dark Side Of The Moon (Any Colour You Like is from that album)

Highly recommend "Brain Damage + Eclipse" two tracks but treat as one! These are also off the album The Dark Side of the Moon 😉

Even if it's an instrumental track, it still carries a message. Roger Waters has a strong idea about the choice of the title (Any Color You Like) and its meaning. In Cambridge, where he lived at the time, vendors came from London in vans to sell bric-a-brac of cheap crockery and cutlery. One day when one of them had hooked up a customer for a set of Chinese plates, Roger overheard him selling his product, adding: "Yes ma'am, you can have them for 10p, the color of your choice, they are all BLUE (Any color you like, they're all blue)" Which led him to believe that all choices in a man's life are guided. No matter what path you take, karma will always catch up with you. Man thinks of making his own decisions, choosing his own color, but everything is already dictated, everything is BLUE. Typically Waters metaphor.

"Terminal Frost" official video! You can watch and enjoy the beautiful movie of nature all over earth along with the music or close your eyes and listen! Either way you will enjoy it and it really is a piece of music kind of like a Mozart or Beethoven sunyata!

The Great Gig in The Sky is another great Pink Floyd instrumental. I prefer the Live Pulse version of it, but others would say studio is better.
@jeanpierrebutel6794 Жыл бұрын
in this case (great gig)the studio version is better only one sing what a perfomance

Absolutely Studio version. That version really makes the meaning of the song speak. If you get my gist
