I have a small emergency fund, but had not thought of a Buffer fund. I’m going to do that. Really good idea. My goal for my emergency fund is $10,000, so I’m thinking that a buffer fund of $1,000 should be enough for me. I am 77 so don’t have any debt and not many monthly expenses.

I adore coin challenges. I have started a coin challenge myself and it's nice not to feel so pressured. Instead of everyday I just add a certain amount each time I have saved up enough coins. Have a coin purse in my bag to "save pennies" and then when it reaches a certain amount (have a printed coin challenge) I add it to my mason jar. It is small but I am REALLY TRYING.

i save all my coins...i have 4 jars, just old peanut butter jars..1 for quarters, 1 for dimes, 1 for nickles, 1 for pennies...in silver coins alone i have around 230.00 not counting the pennies 😊 the extra pennies have rolled over to a gallon size container.
