Hi Jay and Charlotte. We could hear the Sleet pellets hitting everything in the audio. It sounded and looked like a Slippery situation. Glad to hear that Jay is doing better. There are so many bad Flu viruses going around so hope you stay healthy. It was good to see how excited the cows got with the fresh cubes and fresh Hay in the bad Wintry weather. What breed of Cow is Titus your Bull? He has such a beautiful White fluffy coat.

They are loving their Hay!!! Do you have any forest area that is not cut down to clear the land, I wonder if the cows would love being in the forest to sleep or play. Love your videos! Did your kids (dogs) stay out in the snow/ice very long? :)

Hey Bill, we do have some area that still has some standing forest. Although it is a bit of a travel for them and pretty far from a water source. There are a lot of big brush piles up here that I have seem them lay against. The boys dont stay out to long maybe 5 mins max

Shoot those cows are built different! They are built for the winters of Ireland. The farm they came from didn't use barns either so we most likely will never put them in barns.

@@AlgiereHomestead I understand yet maybe an option if some want to have shelter, if not feeling up to par, or new calves or expecting mamas. Or even like Chad Doss is going to build a few loafing sheds like he had on his other farm. One calf just born, they had to rescue and are bottle feeding for a bit and highland JuneBug could give birth any day in this weather. IMHO, I know they are built to withstand low/ high temps, doesn’t mean they have to endure. 😣.
