There are reasons why the judges picked Russell as the winner, because Santiago was fighting dirty, throwing wild shots to the back of Russell head and trying to be slick about it, pushing the head down and not actually exercising boxing skills...but dumb tactics to win, and only displaying what a street fight would look like. Maybe if Santiago would calm down a little and use more skills instead of wildly swinging away punches to take someone's head off he might have shown that he's a professional boxer with skills .

This fight was too close. Maybe a draw. Russell is very good technically and had more head shots but Santiago cooked him with hard body shots. Seems like the judges score head over body shots more. Either way it was a pleasure to watch. Hats off to both fighters.
