Vengo para acá apenas me enteré de que EL SALVADOR 🇸🇻 VUELVE A SER SEDE DEL MISS UNIVERSO, ¡48 AÑOS DESPUÉS! Nos llegó la sorpresa en la transmisión, la aparición de Nayib Bukele anunciando la realización de Miss Universe 2024. Volvemos a ser país sede después de 48 años y no puedo evitar sentir una dicha inmensa, porque mis padres vieron el certamen del 75 cuando el país fue sede y ahora yo también en una similar situación.

Fue uno de los Miss Universo que más me ha gustado. El escenario, el espectáculo en sí , los paisajes y atractivas candidatas. Ese año hubo chicas muy bellas que no clasificaron . Ejemplos Bolivia, Venezuela, Perú y Argentina, quienes eran bellas, además de la israelita Orit Cooper.

Es muy, pero muy cierto, lo de hoy es un relajo y una payasada para morirse de risa. Con la tan cacareada palabrita de la inclusión (significado que ha sido mal interpretado), han hecho de ese evento un arroz con mango. Lo que prima ahora es la cantidad, no la calidad. En México estarán más de 10 con hijos y sus respectivos maridos, otras en embarazo, separadas, con amantes y vueltas a casar, etc, etc. Ya el evento se le notaba cierta decadencia, pero la cosa empeoró cuando cayó en manos de la tailandesa o tailandés. Todavía hay chance que recupere su esplendor, sí la Kamala noquea a Trump en noviembre y este - ante la derrota-decide tomar las riendas de lo que fue el MISS UNIVERSO.......

I think the judges did a good job. Miss Finland, Anne Marie Pohtamo, was stunningly beautiful and very deserving. Miss Haiti was very classy and gave a good final answer. And Miss USA was a classic beauty. So often I disagree with the judges but not this time.

Ms. Phils answer was so... She could have thought of another person like her teacher or friend. She could have won this. Sweden gave the best answer for me. But then again, Finland was destined for it, maybe the scores back then were cumulative. Now, it's back to zero once you reach top 5.

I've noticed that the issue is that the women from Scandinavia (despite being naturally gorgeous) are generally too reserved in the interview portion as well as with the modelling.They don't "own it" the way from Latin American and other countries do and aren't as glammed up with their hair, make up and gowns. The last Scandinavian winner was in 1984 from Sweden and she was crazy pretty and had a more outgoing personality though her gown was not great. Those countries often do better in Miss International with no interview portion.

@@GeishaEntertainer The last time Europe won was 2016, then 2002 and 1990. Sweden, Germany, UK, Spain, Finland and Israel used to place high, these days no longer. Also the most beautiful women are from Italy and Greece,but Italy never won and not serious with their delegates
