I agree with what you said. For me, 2.4 and 2.5 was the last time I had fun with the game. Ever since, I took a break from the game. (Only keeping up with the news.) Came back to it now that 2.8 is here, and it's pretty refreshing.

same, i took a break from 1.2 until 2.1 or so and it was amazing coming back. ever since i enjoy it again. but before that it just got boring. so if it's really not fun i can recommend at least taking a break personally.

All good points!. I've been playing on and off for story but clearly there's a spending minority of the fanbase who also don't have time to grind and it's why the game isn't changing. I hope there's a patch dead enough to get Mihoyo to improve things.

I've been playing since day 1. It's best to play through the story at your own pace, you can unlock co-op in a day or 2 just by completing the chapters in the adventures handbook and exploring, it's literally pointless to go past AR45 because by that point you can get your characters up to lvl 90 and you can't get any higher rarity or more rewards, and if your only playing the game for 30 minutes to only complete the commissions then no wonder you quit the game because you never wanted to enjoy the game to begin with

I was very burnt out from the game but now I've realized that its a game for casual play and events I kinda had your mindset playing (i even have a reminder on my phone to play that i now ignore and play when i want lmao) I've been playing for around 2 years now?(Since 1.5 i think not sure) and I'm at ar49 and I'm glad I'm not endgame level yet I've even been considering making a new account just for me to play without worry and just for fun and not like a chore like it was a year ago. I guess the main problem with genshin is its system. They made it to play everyday with no endgame content in mind. They only want new players so they cater to that which suck because its an awesome game(Not so much community but thats a WHOLE other topic) Good on you for doing that though thats something i cant even think about i'd just feel like i'd lose all that hard work

3:26 bestie who told you need to speedrun through the content, you're supposed enjoy the game at a slow pace so when a new region comes out you'll have experienced a decent chunk of endgame. edit: and since when the community peer pressure you, from smol child to smol child that's the wrong use of the word, people only reccomend, there is no need to lt it get to your head, they say "you need" a certain character because they are the meta during that time for the spiral abyss, don't let the spiral abyss control your choices, play the game the way you want to play. It's not the communit pressuring you bud, it's the game itself,it does it with fomo tatics.

I think the game itself pressures u to speed up because events such as the enkanomiya one required u to be near endgame to unlock, may have been the same for the chasm event but I'm not sure. However i do agree u should enjoy the game at your own pace, if u speed run you'll get bored faster and delete faster as soon as u hit a wall in enjoyment/content

im actually getting burnout from playing genshin impact. i realized that my daily have to do with that game. at first it was an exciting for me, but then when i got too attach to it, it making me bored and dont know what to do anymore. when they put many new places and new puzzle, its making me hated it, since im actually a pretty slow leaner and its making me frustrated to get it right, lets not talk about the card or tcg because im sucked at it, like really bad at it, im on ar57 now but i need to stop. i dont wanna find more primos for other upcoming characters because im lazy and got headache easily when playing on pc too long. i may or may not coming back to play this game next year since i have a big upcoming exam and i need to fully focused on it ( dont wanna make my parent dissapointed at me) so, it depedns on you if you want to stay play or focused on your own life :)

You don't need to speedrun.. .. Take your time, rushing will only make you tired.. .. I'm still playing genshin since I'm a OG player.. plus sumeru is coming within next month so I'm close to reaching my end of genshin impact which is probably in 3 years since i'm not quitting until the game actually ends

You don't need to speedrun the game tho, idk who told u that u need to but that's not the point of it. Just play along and enjoy the game, it may take u 2-3-4 months, just dont rush it
