@@astaninm yes (I recover all strength and all mobility range), but the second surgery to remove the plate is on 2 weeks. My doctor said the plate should be remove in no longer than a year after installed. Since I continue to feel pain we schedule the surgery as soon as the xrays showed a good bone heal.

Should the titanium plate be removed after healing? Will leaving it after healing cause problems over time?

i've had mine for 5.5 years. I'm getting it out in two weeks. I have heard and believe it's best to remove it 12-14 weeks after installation? I wish I would have taken mine out sooner. That place is always susceptible to injury. It doesn't take much pressure on the hardware to be pretty painful.

@@astaninm Да, у меня это было полтора года назад и я тоже в итоге сделал пластину, но думаю конечно лучше бы нитями. Но ничего, надо будет походить с этим добром три месяца и потом снять и разрабатывать руку. Если есть имейл и будут вопросы, напиши его здесь. Я тебе на него отвечу.

How old are you? Did you fracture your collar bone? What type of surgery did you have? Did you rest and recover correctly?

@@super_heroes I am 37. Operation hook plate, hook under the acromion. There was a dislocation of the collarbone, rupture of all ligaments. Metal removal after 10 months. I can send pictures.

Hm, i just had this surgery and my cut is orizontal not vertical

had it done in 2003 in German Army Hospital in Berlin. Everything went well, I was even able to go on "biwak" with my unit in 2004, sleeping on my tank. Fast forward to 2021, still no problems with shoulder. woohoo!!!!!
