It’s so much better than I thought it was going to be. Taylor Wynn reviewed it and liked it and I know she’s got tons of texture from Acne scarring, so I tried it. Was SUPER surprised!

It's amazing that a brand that donates and is so cheap has amazing products. One of my favs are the AOA Velour highlighters. Some are chunky but some are just like CP's SSS with that buttery finish. They are so good for like what a dollar. Thx for reviewing I've been wondering about this Shelly 😁

I think that looked pretty good on you. I can't always see the problems that you talk about noticing, but generally when you do have problems with a foundation, I notice a bit of feathering above your lips. I didn't see that with this foundation even at the end of the day.

Awesome review! I have several backups of this product. I like Ivory for winter and Buff for spring and summer. I also enjoy the newer concealer as well as it doesn’t crease on me and looks quite natural and isn’t drying (not super high coverage but a couple layers takes care of that or letting it sit for a minute before blending out). I have quite a few items from ShopMissA and AOA makes some really great products and I love their brushes so much I have them all plus a few duplicates because I use them so much. I use them over my more expensive brushes quite often. I’m completely addicted to AOA Studio’s micro brow pencil too and like it better than Benefit, Hourglass, and pretty much all the others I have and have tried. Dark brown is perfect for me and IDK what I did before. Is that weird? 😂I just stocked up on more of them yesterday. Love ShopMissA/AOA Studio!

Yes! I was needing this review. I've been wanting to place an order on shopmissa for a while now but was never sure enough to go through with it. I've heard wonderful things about their paw paw sponges. I finally found that flower beauty powder at my cvs but the lightest colors were all gone 😭 and I saw a full display of loreal dream lengths hair care and wonder water but didn't get any. I'm sitting seriously regretting it. I hope they still have whenever I go back.

Looking lovely in the video Shelly! I've seen someone else review this a while back, can't remember who. I do remember them being shocked and loving it too though. I've never ordered from ShopMissA before but I'm def going to have a look at it. I've heard really great things about those sponges too AND they donate to charity! I order from them regularly and I’m continually blown away. I’m currently obsessed with their loose pigments, brow products and cream blushes. I reach for this one frequently and reeeally like mixing it with their drop foundation.

Looks like another winner from the drugstore category. Nice finish and the shade looks good too. :) I don't own many 'high end' foundations but the few I have aren't much better than the drugstore brands I use. :)

I really love my AOA foundation in the little glass bottle! Just tried it for the first time a few weeks ago and immediately ordered another couple of bottles. The only other shade match as good I have is Too Faced... and forty bucks a bottle is a tough sell compared to a buck fifty!

Yay!!! Your review makes me so happy! I literally just unpacked an order with this in it last night! I tried it on the back of my hand over their pore primer and it looked so good I wondered if that would translate to my face! I'm doing a makeup happy dance now and can't wait to try it on for real! Hi Shelley it's good when affordable brands do really good products. Your hair looks so much brighter in daylight re the colours and I like the shirt colour with your hair and eye makeup. I don't think it's an international brand, nor will I find a shade match - it's more forgivable re the shades when you consider the price though. Best wishes.

Cudos to AOA for their quality. I would 100% ok with buying two shades to mix IF the undertones were cooler. It is what it is and I accept that my chemistry will turn that foundation into a melted Orange Dream Bar. Thanks so much for another wonderful video 😻.

this one looks pretty good! better than many others you've tried, and for the price 😲 a few yrs ago I tried this foundation (?) it had a black cap, is it the same? 🤔 it didn't work for me but maybe because all the shades I ordered were wrong 🤦 but your skin looked really nice at the end of the day, I'm impressed 👍... hugzzz ❤️

A lot of the price of something is going into their big budget and marketing campaigns, and whatever celebrity endorsements they've got to pay for, and research and development on new formulas... some of which may be valuable (like the R&D that other companies will copy once the formula has been mastered), and some of which has speculative value if you care about celebrities or slick videos on socials or seeing nice ads on buses and billboards and TV.... We won't likely ever see AOA in a Super Bowl ad, but I'd rather have $1.55 foundation :)

I tried their satin serum foundation and couldn't do it. The match was bad, and couldn't mix well to make a match and the scent was overwhelming for me.

This is at the opposite end of pricing but have you tried the Wet n Wild Incognito concealer? It is very similar in coverage and I'm loving it!

So far the primer works really well! I tried it under a couple other foundations (including the Shiseido Radiant) and it has worked great there too. I don't think it does a ton for extending wear but I do think it makes the wear away more graceful at the end of the day.

Wow, I bought this foundation and it is horrible on my dry skin. It makes me a wrinkley mess as 44. I've tried more moisturizer prior to applying. I have to use my fingers with it, on my brush it won't blend well and sits in skin instead of looks like skin. I really wish it had worked for me.
