I know that extreme rightwingers WANT it to be true, and use a photo to "prove" it, but if you see the videos of the settings she allegedly made that gesture you'll see that she is waiving her arms in all directions. Musk have said "my heart goes out to you" several times before, and used totally other gestures. This was definitely intentional, and gave a message to someone. USA is getting scary similar to Germany in the 30's now, and it's dissapointing that you don't WANT to see that. We in the modern civilized world outside USA is getting worried

I have wondered about that, as I am deeply impressed by her. She is bombarded with hate constantly. Every time I scroll through her X page, I see things that make me physically nauseous and furious at the same time. The strength she has to keep working, keep fighting, is extraordinarily. For all that, AOC is like a political wrecking ball. She is ruthlessly honest, wearing her heart on her sleeve, but she has occasionally reacted prematurely. A president cannot be like that. They have to be calm, strategic, even if they're anything but on the inside. For now, I think she's exactly where she needs to be, hopefully while taking care of herself and avoiding burnout.

My Granparents on my Father's side lived through WW2, in Britain. My Grandfather fought the Nazis in British RAF aircraft. My Grandmother was bombed by Nazi Luftwaffe aircraft, and lost her parents. My Grandmother on my Mother's side fled Britain with her family, to escape the Nazi threat. They went to Australia. Needless to say, I heard many many first-hand accounts of what the Nazis did during WW2. ANYBODY who thinks Nazis aren't the ultimate evil on Earth is a fool and a menace to society. Grow up. Here is a comment I posted under a reletad video, where I explain the situation to the best of my abilities: I’d like to offer a perspective on why Elon Musk’s actions, while they may not make "psychological sense" in terms of openly supporting Nazis, can still make sense in a broader cultural and political context. It’s not necessarily about Nazis themselves. While their numbers are declining, the real driver here is the rising backlash against “the left and their Marxist, socialist agenda.” This backlash has gained significant traction, to the point that it arguably contributed to Trump’s election victory. Musk’s behavior can be seen as appealing to the “new right,” which isn’t defined by old-right antisemitism but rather by a broader contrarianism toward the left. In this context, his actions make sense as a way to provoke and outrage those on the left-an attitude commonly described as “owning the libs.” Contrarianism is central to the new right’s psychology. Its adherents often reject progressive ideas, not because of an inherent ideological stance, but because they see these ideas as part of a cultural dominance they want to dismantle. Provocation becomes the point. The origin of the contenst should be secondary to the content itself. As I always say, it shouldn't matter if the argument is presented by a 5-year-old on crack or by a trusted politician/authority, if you cant deal with the content all the same. It's the content that matters, not the form/vessel. For a non englisch speaker, I like to run a text through an AI to fix grammar and make the point clearer. Destoy the language barrier, if you will. Shouldn't detract from the actual message. Also, your problems in the U.S. are simmering through to other countries, like Germany, where I'm from, so a little consolidated effort would be nice, if we are to get to the bottom of this. I was pretty sure that our collective hatred for Nazi's, regardless of our country, culture, or race, was the one planetary unifying force we could count on. Even when it come to our characters, we tend to write and portray our villains with enough respect to never let them be fans of the Fürer (unless it's about ww2, of course). Elon's inspiration were Henry Ford and Wehner von Braun (while Ford was an anti-semite, Braun was a member of the SS (albeit tacitly) he still led many slave laborers to their deaths in his rocket factories). Elon's growing up during apartheid in South Africa may have cemented his fascistic beliefs. In a nutshell, given that history, it's more than alarming to have an individual like this behind the presidential seal, let alone having him express his "free speech" which led to hundreds of thousands of American deaths during World War II. Something to think about for Elon ... for all his accomplishments thus far, he didn't need the help of a Nazi regime to do all he's done, and yet ... here we are.

Before watching the entire video clip for myself, I gave him the benefit of the doubt (I give EVERYONE the benefit of the doubt). But after watching it in its entirety... he rocks it TWICE, just like how the nazis used to do it -- once to the crowd, and again to hitler himself if present (or a picture of him if not). I'd have to tie myself in a pretzel to argue that wasn't a nazi salute. I rocked this salute to the owner of one of the companies I work for, and it was hilarious (yes, I have big balls).
