I think in campaigns triggers can unlock units in earlier ages than normal. Like there was a mission where you could make capped rams in castle age. I think that's how red is making elite skirms and crossbows.

Red even had murderholes. Why set red in Feudel and let it have every Castle age thing?

Probably on easier difficulties red would only get archers and regular skirms, I'm guessing there are triggers in place to give them better techs the harder you set the difficulty level. Not sure where the rams are coming from though, they must be spawned in.

Just now realized they have so many towers and produce so many archers probably to have the player take advange about malians pierce armor bonus with barrack units, but it wasn't hinted anywhere

well, knights are still way better against archers than malian longswordmen so I don't know about that

Actually I like the gold and stone covered a bit by fancy rocks, else it looks a little boring to me. Regarding the castle age units while enemy is in feudal, you cheated imp units in castle in the berbers-campaign as well I think. I believe it's done like this, because the feudal buildings fit better into the context, while providing stronger units.

It seems you didn't play that much on African maps but you can't build anything on quicksand. Maybe in the next campaigns you will see how it looks.

The orange units you found after scouting around the 15 min mark were gaia that turned orange when you discovered the yellow base, if you had found them before you would have had a magonell.

Nope, the Mangonel and 4 Spearmen were Red, they turned Orange after he completed the first objective.

Oh, you complain here that they are in the Feudal and produce Castle Age units :-D? Still easy, wait for the Vietnamesse campaign when your enemy will produce fully upgraded Chu Ko Nus, Scorpions and Cavaliers in the Castle Age and you will not be able to advance to Imp, thats where the fun starts :-P.

Chen'la But Rattan Archers are OP against every pierce dmg Unit, they have 6 pa in castle age

Only first Chu Ko Nu's arrow do pierce damage, the other following do melee, so Rattan is kinda useless.

No all a Chu Ko Nu's arrows do pierce damage. Their extra arrows do 3 pierce damage and 0 melee damage. They are able to kill rams easily because rams have -3 melee armor.

Chen'la That time i destroyed everything i had only the mighty gbeto army. I won the game with 500+ gbetos. But i played again after the rajas patch and they fixed the gbeto bug
