I really like how you command and produce your troops, protected both allies and succeed at last. I did this stage and was beaten af in hard mode. I think it needs quite a skill to play as Inca cos there is no cavalry and we need to grow both melee and ranged soldiers to defend ourselves from rams and those bowmen, furthermore, in 3-4 groups. great video, thx for uploading!

it is not uncommon to narrate as multiple people because you are self-examining your own thoughts, in effect because of how quickly your brain thinks compared to how quickly you can create sentences, means by the time you starts a sentence on one topic, you will be already thinking about something else. So you think about the sentences you are making and the actions you are doing as separate thoughts leading to you referring to yourself in the plural when a lot of intensive thinking is going on. You can see this going on at 0:57, when Viper refers to himself in singular until he starts to micro his units when he switches to plural only to change back after deciding there is no point microing

I was adament to kill all oppentents and save all allies but it was proving so hard. Near impossible. I had to watch this to see how Viper boomed. Viper's castle placement near the ally not the enemy was crucial too. I killed one of the wonder builders immedialty. I was then able, with pausing to artifically boost my macro, take out left Chanca. Then with a fair amount of save scumming, take out purple before the wonder was up. Then right chanca was no discussion and then I had 30yrs to spare. If I can do it I bet Viper would have destroyed with a few more attempts. This was the hardest campaign mission so far. Honorable mentions: Defeating Mongols on Kotyan Khan #2 and gajah mada #5 (until I remembered you can have more than 1 TC in campaign lerl)

You always pack up your trebuchets too late to save them. Pack them as soon as you realize you cannot win there.

Now, this was a hard one. Worked it this way for me in hard as well. At the end I lost my castle in orange, so i retreated back to my base. Then, it was quite easy, three castles full of arbalesters, leave a small gap in the walls. 3 to 5 mangonels attack ground the small gap destroying all the rams that came. Then some champions dealing with the Jaguars and 10 eagle warriors sniping he trebuchets.

Its easy if u cheese the opponent.. say u make walls but open only on one side so you can put 2/3 castles around there, set up mini wall maze there and place 3/4 onagers. That way this scenario is a piece of cake. Viper does no wall and protect allies just to challenge himself haha.

I created a few choke points and put a few towers, it worked for me. if the map is too open you run around with the troops without being efficient. Also watch towers help and keeping your allies alive. It's not an easy map. walls walls not balls strategy does not really work on this map, at least for me it did not.

Purple only starts making trebuchets after you make one or when the wonder finishes. It's a shame that Purple uses its trebs to chase your army instead of attacking orange and green.
