The new siege guy looks better from the side. The front view looks like they are just holding a pot but the side view looks like an actual gun

Interesting they didn't stick with the no meat mechanic. It was first introduced in aoe 3 which made me curious about. And Yes most of the japanese history the island had a ban on meat. Especially mammal meat. Idk if its just wasny mentioned or they disregard tbr mechanic all together cuz not be able to hunt at all is tough to balance

Yeah no ability to hunt would be rough, but they do have a very strong emphasis on farming it seems.

I think the ninja can turn into enemy villagers and kill the villagers without giving opposing player sound cue alerts

You will get a alert for sure when they get attacked. there is no reason not to. But before they attack, they will probably not get shot at automatically by towers, and you wont see the enemy color on minimap.

Im pretty sure once you attack with it it will remove the disguise

The only issue i have with this civ design is that to get shinobies i need to go with certain landmark. Why not just make like a special bulding that can only produce them that is more expensive, something like school of shinobies that also requires stone to bulid.
