ALEXISONFIRE is one of those few bands among some of my favorites (such as tool, Deftones, Radiohead, soundgarden, Alice In Chains, Mogwai, working for a nuclear free city, Unkle ) where you just see the evolution and works of growth that shows how much they still have it while still sounding different and fresh while keeping the core intact. City and colour is fantastic, and to see ALEXISONFIRE return with the same energy and growth is just fantastic. Looking forward to this upcoming album. Just a banger of a track.

Truly, it will go down in history as perhaps one of the greatest metalcore records ever recorded! Kids living 100 years from now will still be talking about this record! In 10 years, it will still be regarded as their most seminal, cohesive album yet. My personal favorites are all of them, from Committed to the Con, Sweet Dreams of Otherness, Sans Soleil, Conditional Love, Blue Spade, Dark Night of the Soul, Mistaken Information, Survivor's Guilt, Reverse the Curse, to World Stop Turning. I travelled from Donegal in Ireland over to Brixton Academy in London for their farewell shows in 2012. To see them one last time and just try to drink it all in and be in the moment as much as possible. It was such a great show. I knew I’d see Dallas live again with C&C, but it would never be the same as the catharsis of an AOF gig. They’re something else. Something different. Something so pure and immense. I’m so happy they’re back. The 2 new tracks are phenomenal. If they’re anything to go by, we are all in for a serious treat with Otherness. Gonna soundtrack summer 22. Dude, I went to see Avenged Sevenfold with my wife in Montreal last month. Had never heard of AOF. They played their set which included this song and I was blown away. The fact 40+ yr old musicians can still put out amazing music like this is beyond inspirational. I’m now an AOF fan! Avenged Sevenfold should’ve opened for them instead of the other way around. This is surreal. I remember taking a trip with my family to Vancouver maybe 17 years ago now. My late brother and I were watching some music channel, and ‘Pulmonary Archery’ comes on. It was my first experience with *anything* heavy, and coming back to this all this time later is crazy. This sound rocks. Hope to see you guys soon.
