Remember when Kareem's all-time scoring record was such a big thing in the media every day? Oh wait it wasn't. Now all of a sudden it is. HYPOCRISY AND ALL FLUFF STATS.
@roboninja31948 ай бұрын
Yea Kareem's all-time point total was rarely ever mentioned. When Jordan, Kobe, Dirk, etc got to 30k the media never mentioned Kareem. When Karl Malone started getting close his last 2 seasons the media never spoke about him breaking Kareem's record. And Malone was only 1,460 points away from breaking it. If he had played 1 more season he would've got there. If Mike had played in 94, 95, 99, and 2000 he'd have easily topped 40l+ points. Mike has 1,072 games played and Lebron has 1,475. Give Mike 400 more games at 25 ppg and that's 10k points. He would've retired with 42K+ points. The media is acting like Lebron is the only one who could pass Kareem and scored 40k points. Past players didn't play in this era with no defense and point total explosion the last 10 yrs. They also weren't using PEDs to extend their playing days.
