I think it’s a pretty reasonable thing to fire this guy. He’s going to be a manager, and his first impression wasn’t very good. Here’s just what I personally think happened to Kaneko and Jin: Kaneko after being forced to get a job to pay back her accumulation debt broke up with Jin, who was no longer an “elite” office worker and now spends her days bouncing in matchmaking parties and marriage agencies in between working her part time job. As for Jin, he eventually resigned from his old company due to not being assigned any major/leadership roles and eventually moved back in with his parents and became a semi-shut in.
