I suggest that this video came with a theory containing one man named Mario having an addiction on drugs, or “power ups”, went to “Mushroom Kingdom”, harassing Princess Peach and her husband Bowser, and abusing their kids, the Koopalings, into comas. Do you know why there is floating money in the game? This also suggest that Mario might have been stealing money in order to buy more drugs (“power ups”). Mario has been a heartless murderer by killing the innocent goombas just like in the game. Mario was acting crazy on the road by smashing into other peoples cars, just like in the Mario Kart series. So yeah from that theory, that’s how Mario came to be.
